Which travel company did you book your trip with?

We did not use a travel agent; we planned the trip on our own.

We stayed at the Intercontinental Thalasso Resort and Spa. It was excellent.

I would recommend this Bora Bora resort to others.

Food

We mainly ate at the resort. The food was excellent and they had several different choices for restaurants. The food was mostly Polynesian.

The room service staff was excellent as well.

The best restaurant on the main island was Bloody Mary's and it is excellent, excellent, excellent.

We went on the shark feeding/swim with the sting ray excursion. It was a blast of fun and very well coordinated. We swam with huge sharks and fed stingrays at different locations.

We also had a tour around the entire lagoon. The excursion was booked from the hotel.

Wildlife

We didn't see a ton of wildlife. It was mainly the sharks, stingrays and fish. Lots and lots of fish.

We went to the main island for a day to explore. We rented bikes and toured the entire island and then ate at Bloody Mary's that night. It was a wonderful day.

Did you have any regrets or disappointments regarding your trip?

No, none.

It is very very expensive. You cannot make a cheap trip out of Bora Bora.

Get ready to have fun but make sure you are financially ready.

What was the most useful item that you took with?

Sunscreen.

10. It is a beautiful place. Everyone should go in their lifetime. The over the water bungalows are magic.
